Vintage Mercurio & Alaimo Cake Serving Set. No known date, but most likely at least 50 years old, possibly more. Purchased in Italy. The label inside the box reads: Oreficeria-Orologeria-Argenteria * Mercurio & Alaimo * C.50 Vitt. Emanuele, 231 * Ang. P. tta M. Arezzo * - Tel. 243644 - * Palermo - 30133. The box is stamped Argento 800.There is tarnish on both pieces, but it appears to be in original, good condition. In original box. There appear to be some surface scratches on the serving areas, so it may have been gently used. Everything intact except the label, which fell off during pictures.
